How to get projects on freelancer

Freelancer is on-line way to post the work and get it done. Many people are making lots of money from it meanwhile many are struggling to get their first job on it.

Those who have good rating and review are more liable to get projects.
But to get the good rating and review is the objective and in order to get it getting the first project is the biggest hurdle. Following are the tips to get your first project on freelancer.

  • Complete your profile  - If your profile is complete than the employer will trust you and won't think that your profile is fake.
  • Verify email, deposits, contact - Verifying these things increases the trust of the employer.
  • Show achievements in portfolio - All the projects/task you have done, showcase them in portfolio section. Even if you have not done any project on freelancer than show your other projects you have done before.
  • Provide unique service - The chances of being awarded is high if you bid on "low bid projects", so always try to provide or work on unique services.
  • Bid immediately - Many a times, employers are hurry to get the job done, so they award the project to who bid early. So alway try to bid as early as possible if you are interested in the corresponding project.
  • Be on-line - After bidding on the project, try to be on-line because the employer always have chat with the bidders to know whether they can do the work or not. So be on-line to have communication with the employer.
  • Write good proposal - While bidding, always try to write a good proposal. Many freelancers, generally don't write this, but it is a good practice. Writing a good proposal reveals your confidence and attracts employer.
  • Bid on average price - Never bid with either very high price or very low price.
  • Make the employer happy - Always make sure that you work for the employer sincerely and make the employer happy because if he is happy with your work, he will get back to you with new work again.
If these are followed than there are more chances of getting your first project.
