Installing Micromax 353G dongle on Ubuntu

Consider that you need to make your dongle work with airtel sim. Follow the instruction given below:-
1.  Go to the icon on the left side of the sound option then click on edit connection.
2.  Network connection window will be opened.
3.  Go to Mobile Broadband tab.
4.  Click on Add.
5.  New Mobile Broadband Connection window will open.
6.  Click on Continue.
7.  Select the Country and then click on Continue.
8.  If your Service provider's name is in the list than select it otherwise write the provider's  name.
9.  Than your plan and APN will be displayed, click on Continue and Apply.
10. Now your connection name will be displayed on the Network Connection window.
11. Close the network connection window.
12. Download sakis3g script from the url : http://www.sakis3g.org/ .
13. It will be downloaded in compressed form, unzip it and save it in your home folder.
13. Open the terminal and and run the command sudo chmod +x sakis3g.
14. Wait for 1 minute then your connection name will be displayed in the nerwork icon which is on the left side of the sound option.
15. If the connection name is not displayed then run the command again.
