How To Earn Online Without Investment? Which Business Can I Start After Learning The C Language?

How To Earn Using C Language Knowledge?

Nowadays, anyone can earn using their knowledge of any programming language. There are multiple ways of earning using C Programming language. However you will need dedication and hard-work to get it going. The suggestions present in this article are easy to follow and with very low investment. If you are a college student, then also you can follow along these ideas and start earning in easy way. These are passive income ideas. Hence you can start it and do it side by side along with your main profession or studies.

In this article, I won't only share the ideas but will also share my journey and experience following these ideas. I recommend you to follow these ideas in the order I am mentioning so that it would be easier to build the whole concept. So without making you wait more, let's discuss these ideas one by one.

1. Coaching or Teaching

This may sound very tedious or slow earning idea as you will need to teach students or join a coaching as a teacher to teach C language or any other language. But this is a very important step towards a big journey. You can skip this and move to next but let me explain you the importance of this step. With this, you will enhance your own skills and knowledge. Moreover, you are building your audience for next steps. You are doing this as a prerequisites to below steps but you will be earning some amount. You can either join a coaching to teach or start your own.

Sharing my experience, I also started a coaching with name "Appychip" which is the name of this blog as well and I build some audience and friends who helped me a lot to achieve more. I was teaching DevOps to programmers or to those who wanted to change their profession as DevOps.

2. Create Social Presence And Share Knowledge

Once you have audience or students, you will need to create accounts on social media like LinkedIn, Facebook Page, Instagram etc. Ask your audience to follow you or your page/account and start sharing your knowledge with them. You can either share the knowledge or tips directly by posting on these account or sharing the links of blog (which is the third step).

Since, I am doing a full time job and have limited time, I didn't opted to create many social accounts for Appychip but I do have following account:

Facebook Page - https://www.facebook.com/appychip/

Twitter Account - https://twitter.com/appychip

You can follow these links if you are interested to learn about DevOps and Technology.

3. Create Blogs

Once you have audience and social accounts in place. You should create blog, may be a free one on blogger like this website or a Wordpress kind of website with more features and dedicated domain like https://appychip.com.

You can then start posting about C programming or knowledge related to any other thing. Then share the link of the posts or articles on the social account of yours. This way you are increasing traffic to your new blog/website. If there were no audience from coaching/Teaching then getting traffic to your blog could be a slow and difficult job. So, Teaching helped you in getting traffic as well as you learned and made yourself more skilled by teaching. Earning money while teaching was a extra bonus.

Now, you might have a question how does blog will help to earn?

Well, it will definitely help you to earn. If your blog start getting enough views, you can apply for Adsense. Adsense is a Google service through which Google will display ads on your blog and when people (viewers of your blog) see the ads or click on it, you will earn. There are many affiliate programs which you can use to start displaying ads on your website.

You can see ads on this blog as well, this is Adsense. Initially the Adsense account was not approved for me but after a year when blog start getting some good traffic and it was approved. Initially I was not earning anything from it but it was my passion to teach and share knowledge, I never gave up. Once it got approved and I was more motivated and started to think and do more.

If you are a newbie and want to get started with your blogs or want to contribute on our blog, you can reach out to us. Here is how, Appychip, the blog, looks like:

4. YouTube Channel

Yes, you are thinking right. Today, it is one of the most popular way to earn money online but I have seen people putting a lot of hard-work and not getting their YouTube channel approved for monetization.

Once you have your blog, in addition to it, you can create a YouTube channel. Create videos by teaching C programming language or any other thing based on your skills. Create videos related to concepts, the whole course, how to prepare for interview questions etc.

Once you have the videos in place, remember, you have audience in place from step 1 and step 2 to share these videos with. Moreover, you can place these videos in your blog post. So not only your social media audience but anyone who lands on your blog can watch your video and may subscribe as well. Put blog posts links in YouTube video description, this will increase traffic on blog.

Once you have enough views and subscribers on YouTube channel, you can apply for monetization. Monetization is basically adsense kind of service for YouTube. Once its approved, google will start displaying ads on your videos and you will start earning.

So far you are earning from three source:

  • Coaching
  • Blog
  • YouTube Channel

All of these are related to each other and helping each other to increase the earning/revenue.

We also have a YouTube Channel called Appychip

At the time of posting this article, we have around 110 videos and 3.5K subscribers and earning $100 per month. Remember this is a passive income. This can be increased to more if you work hard and provide quality content by following above steps on full-time basis.

Here is how the Appychip YouTube Channel looks like:

5. Others

I have kept this step as others as there are many other thing which I will mention under this step. And this could be a different step but if you have followed above steps, then this once could be achieved easily.

Once you have courses created on YouTube Channel, you can create more detailed videos for a set of course like - "Getting started with C Language" or "Deep dive in C" etc.

You can post your course on platforms like Udemy, Unacademy and more. There are many other platforms which helps you to showcase your course and earn a good amount. If you are offering a course on Udemy and making $10 with one student opting your course on Udemy, then image if 1000 students opted your course or may be 10,000 students. This number could be easily achieved on platforms like Udemy if you are offering quality content in your course.

So far I have not posted any course on Udemy but I have few videos on our YouTube channel which have two short courses related to Docker and Kubernetes:

5. You

Yes, you are reading it right. Its "YOU", who can think of many possibilities to expand above suggestions or follow your own way of doing things and making it earn for you. Once you get started, you will eventually end up discovering more ideas to expand and grow.

Doing a job, if you don't have enough time to start all these? We do have a "Contributor Program", joining which, you can start earning from day1. Contact us, if you are interested.
